# Online Seminar: Strong-tunable coupling between two distant superconducting spin qubits

## Details

Coupling spin qubits over long distances remains challenging due to their localized nature. This seminar will present recent research from **Prof. Leo P. Kouwenhoven & Christian Kraglund Andersen labs at TU Deft**, demonstrating strong supercurrent-mediated longitudinal coupling between two distant superconducting spin qubits. This coupling, which is gate- and flux-tunable and switchable in situ, highlights the potential of integrating microscopic spin states into superconducting qubit architectures, paving the way for fast two-qubit gates between distant spins. The findings combine the strengths of semiconductors and superconducting circuits.

Nat. Phys. 20, 1158–1163 (2024)

The seminar will be presented by **Jaap Joachim Wesdorp**, with **Tom Dvir** co-hosting the event.
