# How many inputs and outputs does QM’s quantum controller have, and how many digital vs. analog?

The [Quantum Orchestration Platform (QOP)](https://www.quantum-machines.co/technology/) is a modular architecture, allowing you to add several[ OPX+ machines](https://www.quantum-machines.co/products/opx/) to scale up based on your quantum control needs. A single unit is composed of up to 10 digital outputs, 10 analog outputs, and 2 analog inputs. Several units can be combined to form a larger, synchronized system continuing up to 9 OPXs+ with the current version (90 analog outputs, 90 digital outputs, and 18 analog inputs) and the upcoming version will support many more.
