## Summary

At the APS meeting, Quantum Machines’ Jonathan Reiner and Equal1’s Mike showcased Equal1’s Bell quantum computer, a fully integrated, rack-mounted quantum system that combines cryogenics, qubits, and Quantum Machines’ control hardware into a compact, plug-and-play platform for scalable silicon spin qubit research.

**Highlights**

- Compact integration: The entire 6-qubit silicon–germanium system, including cryostat and cooling to 300 mK, fits in a single standard server rack powered by one outlet.
- Scalable roadmap: Equal1 plans to expand from 6 to 17 qubits by year-end and to 50 qubits next, leveraging silicon’s scalability.
- Precision control: Quantum Machines’ QDAC, OPX, and Octave enable ultra-stable DC biasing, GHz-range qubit control, and real-time reflectometry feedback.
- Accessible design: The system supports both remote and offline operation with pulse-level programmability, making advanced quantum experimentation accessible beyond specialized cryo labs.

BIO

 Jonathan Reiner is Director of Product Solutions at Quantum Machines, where he translates cutting-edge quantum science into products that meet the needs of a fast-moving industry. He brings a rare arc from academia to product leadership: Jonathan earned his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics at the Weizmann Institute of Science (STM studies of semiconducting nanowires), after an M.Sc. in Physics (SQUID-on-tip, advised by Prof. Eli Zeldov) and a B.Sc. in Physics &amp; Mathematics from the Hebrew University. He then led research as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UNSW’s Centre for Quantum Computation &amp; Communication Technology under Prof. Michelle Simmons. At QM, Jonathan progressed from Product Manager to Product Team Leader and now Director, driving innovation and customer-centric solutions across the portfolio.
