Assistant Controller (Maternity Leave)

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Controller to join our growing finance team.

In this position, you will assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, as well as submit statutory reports based on the regions’ requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating with various operational departments to ensure proper accounting treatment, execution of accounting functions and reporting of results.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in the perpetration of monthly financial reports including budget vs actual analysis
  • Maintain collection tracking, A/R aging, and vendor payments
  • Tracking and analysis of the monthly cash burn and balances
  • Take part in the Month-end closing processes and other additional closing requirements
  • Preparation of annual tax reports and other statutory reporting requirements
  • Working with the Company's external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting, and other matters
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining financial key policies, procedures, and controls throughout the entire reporting process
  • Supporting multiple process automation and improvements

Requirements:

  • CPA with at least 5 years of professional experience (BIG4 or international company)
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and consolidated reports according to US GAAP
  • Good knowledge of Israel Tax and tax reporting experience
  • Fluent English (both spoken and written)
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Microsoft F&O - an advantage
  • Must be willing to work thoroughly and hard in a growing company
  • Must have the ability to grow and develop with the role and its requirements
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
