 The position:

You will be part of the engineering team. As the leading PCB designer, you will create PCB layouts of chip carriers for cryogenic temperatures, RF signals, and material- and supplier selection. This is by far conventional chip carriers but will require you to think out of the box and work with cutting edge stack-ups and technologies. The focus will be on high channel count with circuits that are RF critical and routing for optimized performance. There is a very close integration with mechanics and simulation to create user-friendly workflows for the users of the products at optimum performance. There will be a focus on scaling the number of lines to the quantum processors, and finding suitable solutions for this is an essential part of the job.

You will also be responsible for the layout of our room-temperature PCBs, where the focus is on noise, EMC, and creating state-of-the-art analogue signal performance.

 You will work in multiple areas together with your colleagues: 

  • PCB layout and systems design, including RF circuits.
  • Dialogue with sub-suppliers about stack-up, technologies and layout.
  • Design of chip interconnect technologies such as wire-bond, flip chip and high-density RF connectors.

Responsibilities:

  •  Operative management of a few projects from the design stage.
  •  Profound management to meet highest TTM (TTM=time to market)
  •  Ensure material availability to fulfill the CMs delivery plan
  •  Understanding customers’ requirements and use company resources to execute
  •  Plan and establish the production process of new projects
  •  Ensure DFM under customer specification (DFM=design for manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

  • Working in all fronts – high-level architectural solutions to low-level design constraints
  • Working across multiple teams and methodologies
  • Designing a complex IP to be used both internally by various R&D teams and externally for our customers as a stand-alone product
  • Designing a flexible and integration-able model to allow referencing from various programming languages (UVM, Java, Python, Kotlin and C++) as well as coupling it to a behavioral quantum simulator

  • Practicing the full range of verification aspects
  • Creating a verification environment from scratch (drivers, monitors, coverage...)
  • VIP (DDR/PCIe/AXI) integration
  • Defining verification sequences via a complex control-flow constraint set

By joining us, you’ll have the chance to be involved in creating the next generation of Quantum Orchestration Platform, from the design through the development and testing phases up to end-to-end integration within QM products.
